10.05.04 - Sony Wonder Releases Sing A Song With Six Strings Song Wonder is releasing Sing A Song With Six Strings on September 28th. The album is a collection of 13 songs by guitar-heroes inspired by children, fatherhood and family. The first single off the album will be Kyle Cook's "Always This Near". The song is an ode to Kyle's daughter, and was written from his perspective while on the road. The record includes many other great artists like Peter Frampton and Santana. Kyle had this to say about it. "My track in particular is called Always This Near. I've found people that listen to it and people that relate to it have to travel a lot or have to be gone from their children for two or three months at a time. That's basically the sentiment of the song and where I was coming from when I wrote it. " Kyle is featured on the front of the album with his daughter.

12.15.03 - St. Louis Based 99 Dealers Commissioned to do The New Left Merchandise The New Left and 99 Dealers have struck up a deal. 99 Dealers, the clothing line that brought you the "Have A Willie Nice Day" t-shirt, has agreed to produce a round of merchandise for the Let Go tour. This line will include 3 designs; a girl's hoodie, a girl's 3/4 tee and a logo tee for all! This line will be available right here on TheNewLeft.com and also at 99dealers.com.
